Vienna Stadtfest

The city festival Vienna will take place for the 28^th time this weekend. From May 27^th to May 29^th there will be all sorts of events, programmes and shows all over town. “Experience the city” is this year’s theme.

More than 1 million visitors are expected. One of the highlights of this year’s programme is the show of Kruder and Dorfmeister on Friday, May 27^th at 8pm at Heldenplatz (U3 Volkstheater).

On Saturday you can try a beer tasting between 11am and 10pm at Am Hof. There will be 22 (Austrian) breweries offering 200 types of beer to be tasted.

And in the evening you could either watch the Champions League Finals (FC Barcelona vs Manchester United) starting at 8:45pm or walk back to Heldenplatz and listen to one of Austria’s most famous pop-star: Christina Stürmer at 8:30pm.
The Stadt Fest is free of charge and definitely something worth doing this weekend!
