Since 1998, the Vegan Society Austria organises the summer festival “VEGANMANIA” every year. This year the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary. Naturally, this calls for a celebration!

VEGANMANIA goes Indoors
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, VEGANMANIA arranges an Indoor Summer Festival for the first time. From 24th – 26th February the festival takes place in Vienna’s town hall, the “Stadthalle Wien”. It addresses everyone who is interested in or wants to know more about the vegan lifestyle. Various associations inform about health, environmental protection, animal protection and nutrition. Lots of stands offer a wide variety of vegan delights that shows the versatility of the vegan cuisine. From fast food to healthy crudités – there is something for every taste! Besides the culinary offerings, new fair and ecological products are introduced and fair and ecological produced cosmetics, fashion, shoes and accessories can be purchased. Live bands and DJs ensure a great atmosphere and mood. Admission is free!
Vienna’s Vegan Ball
For the fifth time, the “Wiener Vegan Ball” (Vienna’s Vegan Ball) takes place in February. The ball celebrates the vegan lifestyle in grand style. Devoted to the VEGANMANIA’s 20th anniversary, this year’s ball is dedicated to the 1920s in black and gold. The evening starts with an exclusive four-course meal prepared by the top chefs Siegfried Kröpfl and Johann Schwarz. During the evening event, vegan snacks and cocktails are served. After the festive ball opening with a dance performance an evening full of traditional ballroom melodies follows. But fans of electronic music will also get their money’s worth. DJs and DJanes will send the crowds into raptures in the attached disco. The “Wiener Vegan Ball” takes place on 18th February in the Arcotel Kaiserwasser, admission from 5:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office. The menu has to be preordered directly at the Arcotel Kaiserwasser.
