Sleep green in Vienna

Since mid March the Boutiquehotel Stadthalle offers 7 upcycling rooms in the main building, where guests can be inspired by amazing upcycling ideas and slumber totally eco-friendly! Old skis or wooden slats have been turned into wardrobes, old benchmarks were taken to make lamps extensible and old books have been used to make nice nightstands. Clothes won’t just be hung in a normal closet, but can be put into old suitcases and bent silverwear is fantastically used as a coat hook.

Upcycling is basically upgrading useless material. The production of raw material is reduced hereby and not only is the use of energy is extremely decreasing, but also the emission of greenhouse gas is being reduced.
