“Swan Lake”
On Tuesday, the 2nd of January 2018, the Bolshoi Ballet Belarus will present one of the most popular ballet pieces ever. To the music of Tchaikovsky, the romantic fairytale “Swan Lake” which is about the power of real love, is revived by one of the most renowned Russian ballet ensembles. For its positive contribution to the world culture, the Bolshoi Ballet Belarus has even been honoured by UNESCO. Despite perfectly shaped sophistication, the interpretation of “Swan Lake” conveys a natural lightness which enchants the audience. The breathtaking show is rounded off by a splendid scenery and gorgeous costumes which are covered with Swarovski crystals.
“Nutcracker”
Right on the next day, the Bolshoi Ballet Belarus will interpret another classic to the music of Tchaikovsky, the “Nutcracker”. Both performances are cultural highlights which you should definitely not miss out on.
“Night of the Dance”
On Sunday, the 7th of January 2018, the legendary “Night of the Dance” will take place. The programme is called “Irish Dance reloaded” and will be performed by the Broadway Dance Company and the Dublin Dance Factory. The classical choreography of the Irish tap dance is combined with unique acrobatic parts of the South American artist group “Pura Vida” in an exciting way here. Thereby, a varied spectacle is created which brings perfection, passion and pure energy on the stage. Classical and modern elements are in compliance with fanciful costumes and an impressing light- and sound technology. An eclectic show which is worth a visit, for sure.
“Harry Potter”
After the great triumph of the first part, now also the second part of the everywhere ardently loved classic will be staged. With the Harry Potter series, one of the most successful adaptations in the cinematic history has been accomplished which has captured countless fans worldwide. On the 11th of January 2018, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” will be presented on a large screen in the Stadthalle Vienna. The special thing about the show: The film music is solely played live by the radio symphony orchestra Pilsen. A priceless experience and an absolute must for every Harry Potter fan!
