The first of May Festival

Each year on the first of May, the large May-festival takes place in Prater to celebrate our national holiday. There will be various attractions in both, the entertainment area of Prater, as well as the “green”, “park” area of Prater.

Most of the attractions in the amusement park will offer a 25% discount, there will be a large sports programme for children, but also a lot of (inter)national musicians and live acts. 3 stages will offer live entertainment starting at 1pm until 11pm. At 10pm you will be able to enjoy the traditional fireworks!

Of course there will be various stands selling food, drinks and souvenirs, clothes …

If the weather is nice, you can also simply bring a blanket along and enjoy a picnic in the park or a nice afternoon sleep in the sun!
