"Vienna is different". For a long time, this was the slogan of the city of VIenna. For many people, Vienna is still the city of diversity. The Austrian capital combines gay history with a modern LGBTIQ zeitgeist. In the past, gay emperors, military leaders and composers all loved this city just as much as the Vienna queer community does today.
The queer scene in Vienna may not be one of the largest in the world, but the quality on offer is definitely on par with that of other cities. Especially the party and club scene has evolved rapidly in recent years.
Many of our guests are content to just enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in Vienna, so uncharacteristic of many of Europe's major cities, some of which can be very stressful.
